CASHFLOW For Girls Financial Literacy Program

We are so pleased to partner with Sam's Club and Rich Dad, Poor Dad to offer a financial literacy program for young girls. This effort is part of our 10th anniversary programming and through it we hope to pass on some of the tools needed to be financially savvy and economically independent.

The event will take place in the following cities: Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Miami, Oklahoma City, Phoenix, Raleigh, San Antonio, San Diego, Secaucus, St. Louis, Syracuse, Toronto [CA]

from our press release...
The Women Presidents' Organization (WPO), Sam's Club and WPO member Sharon Lechter, co-author of Rich Dad Poor Dad, will encourage financial literacy by hosting a CashFlow for Girls event on June 5 at 3 p.m. at 13 Sam's Club locations in North America. The event will teach young girls financial literacy by playing the game CASHFLOW For Kids developed by the Rich Dad Company. The game was created to teach key principles of savings, finance and money management in a fun and non-intimidating way that fosters learning by repetition and re-enforcement. Each girl will receive a game in return for a promise to teach 10 other girls how to play the game. Participants will also receive a copy of 'Rich Dad Poor Dad for Teens' and 'Rich Dad Poor Dad.'

Thank you to all of our 10th Anniversary Attendees!

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped out at the 10th Anniversary Conference: Beyond Business As Usual, The Next Ten Years. We are proud to announce that we had nearly 600 attendees this year!

Between our fabulous keynotes: Jim Collins, Marti Barletta, Kevin Roberts, and Susan Masten; we made connections at Dine-Around Dinners, learned about new business trends, celebrated our 10th Anniversary, awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award to our Chair of the WPO Board Adrienne Hall, and even hosted a drum circle/visioning exercise to round out the experience.

Next year the conference will be held in Boston, on April 24 – 26, so mark your calendars now!

Member testimonials from our 2007 conference:

“I am still reeling from all of the wonderful information the conference offered. It has been such a great decision to join WPO and the conference was well worth the trip. I met so many outstanding ladies – especially those from our 3 chapters! Thanks to all those who met me and I look forward to next year’s conference in Boston!”
